#ASK GH: Let's collect ideas that can be turned into an interesting side project

toomaime

I just found this interesting reddit thread about ideas for a side project (https://www.reddit.com/r/SideProject/comments/c44vxf/11_ideas_that_can_be_turned_into_an_interesting/) - There are some interesting ideas so I thought it would be cool to collect more ideas in this thread. Looking forward to feedback and ideas!

Here are the ideas from the reddit thread:

  • Uber for personal trainer
  • Counting calories app
  • A tool that tells you whether an image has been photoshopped or not
  • A lightweight personal CRM to manage my contacts
  • Service that lets you find people for your customer surveys
  • Figuring out the best coding bootcamp/retraining program is too time-consuming

Also I would love to see more indie makers covering educational topcis:

  • An app to manage grades of students (there are some but not really good ones)
  • CRM for teachers
  • Learning engagement app

Hey @toomaime,

These ideas are neat, I've written actually a list of some more side-project ideas on my blog. Let me know if you got any suggestions :)

By the way, I've published another list with several new side-project ideas. You heard it first here on GH ;)
